Oreste

Italian freighter with the carrying capacity of 2679 tons. On 27 March 1942 it hit an underwater mine in the cove Trsteno, near the cape Jaz, and sank. The ship is split in half and the two parts are separated form each other by about 20 m. It lies on the sandy bottom at the depth of 32 m.The hull of the ship is badly damaged but the vital parts of the ship can still be seen.
